Black Rice grown in Goalpara, Assam, by Upendra Rabha’s farmer group of 100+ farmers. Upen Da revived Black Rice in his region, now growing across 650 acres. TARU has increased Community Income by Trainings in NaturaL Farming & Market Linkages. TARU took 2 years to streamline Supply Chain for Black Rice.
Freshly stone ground, Quality checked and packed.
1) Add Water to PreMix. Stir well.
2) Pour batter on a lightly greased pan.
3) Flip when bubbles form or when golden brown.
4) Serve with your favourite toppings
In 1 bowl, whisk together 150 gms of black rice crepe mix, salt and (exotic options )can add jaggery powder, vanilla essence, cinnamon, chocolate or fruit powder. Take another bowl, melted butter (preferable vegan butter) with any of these options - 1 cup – water/milk/buttermilk/vegan milk. Add wet batter to dry ingredients. Stir lightly. Keep aside the final batter for 15 mins. Pre-heat pan. Grease with little oil, butter or desi ghee. Spread thinly one ladleful batter on pan. Cover pan till it firms and flip. Serve with chutney/jaggery powder/ maple syrup/ vegan butter/ jam/ cooked vegetables.

Once packet is opened, store in glass jar or air tight plastic jar. Consume quickly or Refrigerate. Residue-free produce catches weevils easily. Composting produce is the best option if spoiled.
