Ingredients
Black rice – 1 cup
Urad Dal – half cup
Cashew nuts – 5-10 (optional)
Salt to taste
Fenugreek Seeds – 1/4 teaspoon and or flax seeds ¼ tsp
Oil for cooking Dosa – 1 teaspoon
How to Prepare Batter
Make batter with 2 cups of black rice flour, salt, 1 tbsp of chopped vegetables & herbs, 1 tsp of spices, 1 cup of water. Stir with spoon. Heat pan, grease with little oil. Spread evenly half cup of batter on pan. Cover pan till well cooked. Your Black Rice Dosa is ready to be relished. TARU Black Rice Flour Custard (A 2-minute recipe)
Ingredients:
1 Cup Black Rice Flour
1 Cup Water
1 Cup Milk (Vegan or A2 Milk is preferred)
1/2 tsp Green Cardamom powder
1/2 tsp Black Cardamom powder
1/2 tsp Dried Ginger Powder
1/2 tsp Cinnamon powder (optional)
3 Tbs Melted Jaggery/Jaggery Powder
Method:
Mix the Black Rice Flour in normal water so as to not form lumps. Add jaggery. Cook till it thickens, constantly stirring. Remove from heat and mix in the milk. Cook a little more while stirring. Add the spices and serve!
