Grown by Bibari's women farmers group in Goalpara, Assam. We also source other rice varieties bora saul, joha, black rice and black pepper from their farmers group.
Initially they bought and hired an auto for income generation and sold it off. Now bibari's farmers group sells their farm produce to Taru Naturals.

Boiled Rice served with Dal, Vegetable Curry, Soups or salads. Delicious Khichdi, Risotto, Pulao, Dosa, Pancakes, Idli, Desserts like Kheer, Pudding, etc.
How to Cook Gobind Bhog Rice - Take 1 bowl of Gobind Bhog rice, Wash. Soak in clay pot in three times more water than quantity of rice for 10 minutes to 1 hour. Use same water for cooking.
While cooking, add 1 tsp Taru Desi Gir Cow Ghee and Himalayan Pink Salt to taste. Bay leaves and Spices add to flavour. Cover with clay dhakkan.
When little water is remaining in the rice, switch off the gas and leave covered, to simmer in own steam. Leave covered.
