Himalayan Ragi Pancake Mix

Ragi sourced from Dr. Salunkhe, Satara, Maharashtra. Ragi is an Age-Old, Climate Resilient Millet, Tribal Farmers Staple, particularly for Women & Children. Taru farmers are encouraged to Grow Ragi, to Fight Hunger, Malnutrition. Grown in Less Fertile Soil, Low Rainfall.

Women Farmers Harvest, Collect , Clean & Dry Ragi. Harvest is ‘Freshly Stone Ground Flour, Made to Order’ with Love. Chickpea flour is Stone-Ground from Desi Chickpea.

1) Add Water to PreMix. Stir well.

2) Pour batter on a lightly greased pan.

3) Flip when bubbles form or when golden brown.

4) Serve with your favourite toppings

Take 2 bowls. In 1st bowl, whisk together 150 gms of Ragi Pancake Mix, Salt & Jaggery Powder to taste. For fluffy Pancakes, add a pinch of baking powder. For taste, add Vanilla Essence, Cinnamon, Chocolate. Take another bowl, little melted Butter(preferable Vegan Butter) with any of these options - 1 cup - Milk/Vegan Milk.Add wet Batter to dry ingredients. Stir lightly to make smooth batter. Keep aside the final Batter for 15 mins. Pre-heat pan. Grease with little Oil, Butter or Desi Ghee. Spread one ladleful Batter on pan. Spread thinly & evenly in a round shape. Cover pan till firm & flip. Serve with Chutney, Jaggery, Butter, Jam, Vegetable.

Once packet is opened, store in glass jar or air tight plastic jar.  Consume quickly or Refrigerate. Residue-free produce catches weevils easily. Composting produce is the best option if spoiled.
